It details their initial activity when they first appeared professionally in Ireland, then London or Paris and afterwards in countries such as, Italy, Austria, Germany, Russia- in America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and in South America and other places. Their legacies live on today!įour of these artists were born in Dublin, two in Limerick and one in Waterford. Six were men, and one was an attractive young female singer of the first rank. They were the first Irish born professionals to emerge on the international classical music scene.
